Privacy policy

Last updated August 3, 2026

This policy explains what GrandiHub Limited collects when you read, buy or subscribe, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

If you create an account we store your email address, a display name if you give one, and the date you signed up.

If you buy a book we store the purchase record: which book, the amount, the currency, the payment provider and the payment reference. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach our servers.

If you read while signed in we store your place in the book — the chapter and scroll position — so you can pick up where you left off. Signed-out readers keep that record in their own browser only.

If you subscribe to the newsletter we store your email address and where you subscribed from. If you write to us we store your name, email, subject and message so we can reply.

Why we use it

To give you access to the books you have unlocked, to save your reading place, to answer your messages, to send the weekly letter if you asked for it, and to keep basic accounts of what we have sold.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Who else sees it

Our hosting, database and payment providers process data on our behalf under contract. They may only use it to run the service.

We may disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Account and purchase records are kept while your account exists and for as long as tax and accounting law requires afterwards.

Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe. Messages are kept for two years.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Deleting an account removes access to books you have unlocked.

Write to info@grandihub.com and we will respond within two working days.

Talking to Mara

If you speak to Mara instead of typing, your microphone is open only while she is listening — the button in the composer turns it on, and ending the session turns it off.

Each thing you say is sent once to our speech provider, turned into text, and discarded. We do not store the recording. The text becomes a message in the conversation, and you can delete it like any other.

We keep timings for spoken turns. Those records hold no audio and no words.

Cookies and local storage

We use storage in your browser to keep you signed in, remember your reader settings, and remember whether you have confirmed your age on adult titles. We do not run advertising trackers.
